Agriculture and industry: operating across on-site and cloud systems.

A scenario for distributed teams, variable connectivity and applications hosted in different locations.

Illustrative scenario, not a delivered project or testimonial. The plan is adapted to each company’s environment, risks and budget.

Business context

Work happens across sites with uneven connectivity. Moving everything to cloud without examining internet dependence can introduce a new failure point. Some functions need to remain close to operations.

Risks we assess

Uninventoried servers, exposed remote access, backups that are never transferred, synchronization without conflict handling and monitoring that disappears with the network link.

Intervention plan

Inventory sites and connectivity dependencies. Classify functions that tolerate interruption and those requiring local operation. Review private access, segmentation and backups. Design synchronization and observability around available connectivity, without assuming offline behavior the application does not support.

Deliverables

Per-site map; connectivity dependency matrix; hybrid architecture proposal; access and backup plan; link-loss and recovery procedure.

How we validate

Test link loss in an authorized environment and verify agreed functions. Check consistency after reconnection and support access. Availability also depends on power, connectivity and application capabilities; these limits are documented.
